To The New Dalmatian Owner
by Sharon Boyd
Congratulations! You have chosen a puppy of the breed that is dearest to our hearts. This information will help you and your new companion have a long, happy life together. In all cases, any questions or concerns should be directed to your breeder who is your best source of information for the life of your dog.
The Dalmatian is a very social breed. He NEEDS human attention. Your new puppy needs to be part of the family. If left alone for long periods of time, or abandoned to even a well fenced yard, he will not be a good friend to you. His attempts to gain your attention may leave your yard in shambles and make for a miserable dog and owner. Don’t just take this puppy home…. Take him into your home, into your family and into your heart.
The Puppy
by Sharon Boyd
You were born into my hands on that hot summer night,
My hope for the future, great topline, good bite.
Research of the bloodline gave me cause to expect
That you would be perfect and a champion correct.
You grew from a gangly puppy, you earped on the rug,
You peed on the floor then asked for a hug.
You made me to love you like no words could describe.
You made me so mad that sometimes I cried.
But you grew and you grew and you made me so proud.
The applause from the groups and the excited crowd.
You gave me your all; we were quite a team.
You showed like a Rockstar; you had such a gleam.
Don't Forget Your Breeder
by Sharon Boyd
I knew from day one that they all wouldn’t stay,
Preparing them for life took many hours each day.
I loved every minute watching them grow and thrive,
Helping them discover the world fills me with pride.
The weeks are numbered, never enough time.
I worry, even though I know they’ll be just fine.
I trust you with this puppy and hope you understand,
I hand-picked you because you’ll follow the plan.
Continue to provide new experiences each day,
Never stop training and don’t forget to play.
I will never forget my puppies and will always be here.
Please provide them the best for the rest of their years.
